Image source: Getty Images Even as FTSE shares rally and leading indices reach record highs, there continue to be impressive high-yield opportunities for investors to capitalise on. And two stocks that are seemingly popular buys right now are Legal & General (LSE:LGEN) and Taylor Wimpey (LSE:TW.). The insurance giant and homebuilder are apparently near the top of most investors’ shopping lists this month. At least, that’s what the latest data from AJ Bell’s showing. Image source: Getty Images Despite being mainly known for growth stocks, the FTSE 250 has an abundance of high-yield dividend opportunities. In fact, there are currently more than 40 firms with a payout of 6%+. And among these is Victrex (LSE:VCT), a speciality materials enterprise. Victrex shares have had a bit of a rough time lately. Then it all went wrong. Its focus on the premium market backfired as the cost-of-living crisis forced drinkers to cut back or trade down. Tariffs have hit Diageo hard too. Even investors who bought after the first profit warning in November 2023 are hurting, with the…

In Brazil, JREDD+ is a public policy approach developed by Brazilian federal and state governments to promote large-scale forest conservation and climate mitigation.Emission reductions are measured at the jurisdictional level—not tied to individual properties or collective territories—and generate carbon credits based on verified drops in deforestation and degradation.Participation is voluntary and protected by safeguards and law, ensuring communities, farmers, and local actors can opt in or out while retaining land and resource rights.
