SIFs, introduced by SEBI earlier this year, provide professionally managed exposure across equities, debt, REITs, InvITs, private equity, and derivatives. They are positioned between traditional mutual funds and high-ticket Portfolio Management Services (PMS), with a minimum investment requirement of ₹10 lakh.
The structure combines active management with regulatory oversight and mutual fund-like tax efficiency.
Through the FYERS platform, investors can explore fund strategies, performance histories, and manager credentials. The platform allows users to compare and invest in SIFs without additional paperwork or third-party portals.
Tejas Khoday, Co-founder and CEO of FYERS, said the platform aims to broaden access to specialised investment options previously limited to ultra-high net worth individuals.
FYERS, a Bengaluru-based brokerage founded in 2015, serves over one million retail, NRI, and institutional investors. The platform offers advanced trading tools and analytics for self-directed investors.
