Energy Absolute Public Company Limited (SET: EA) underscores its leadership in sustainability for both Thailand and the global stage by winning two major awards at the “T-VER Awards: A Decade of Commitment to Greenhouse Gas Reduction.” The event, hosted by the Thailand Greenhouse Gas Management Organization (Public Organization) – TGO, awarded EA with the Outstanding Continuous Certification Project Award and the Carbon Credit Recognition Project Award for 2025.

These two awards not only reflect EA’s achievements in operating under ESG (Environment, Social, Governance) principles but also serve as clear confirmation of the company’s crucial role in driving Thailand toward a sustainable, low-carbon society.

The Carbon Credit Recognition Project Award for 2025 further highlights EA’s global leadership, as EA becomes the first organization in the world to successfully secure certification and transfer of carbon credits overseas under the Bangkok E-Bus Project, which has empirical evidence of reducing greenhouse gas emissions and improved quality of life in Thai society.

Mr. Chatrapon Sripratum, Chief Executive Officer of EA, stated, “This achievement confirms the commitment and dedication of every team member. It demonstrates our leadership in clean energy, our continuous development of innovation and clean energy projects, to drive the green economy, reduce greenhouse gas emissions, and improve quality of life for Thai society and the global community.”

EA is currently studying to set a greenhouse gas emission reduction target under the Science-Based Targets initiative (SBTi) framework to move steadfastly toward its goal of Carbon Neutrality by 2040 and Net Zero Emissions by 2050.

Recently, EA was ranked in the world’s Top 10% for ESG sustainability by the S&P Global Corporate Sustainability Assessment 2025, reaffirming its leadership in clean energy and greenhouse gas reduction.
